GRADE 8Y – Warman Community Middle School 2019/20
Dear Students and Families,
Welcome to Grade 8! I’m excited about the opportunity to get to know you, and I’m looking forward to being your homeroom teacher at Warman Community Middle School. I will be teaching you English, Math, Science, Social and Physical Education. I will also be coaching the Junior Girls Volleyball team. I am available any scheduled noon hours and after school for assistance if you require it.

I am sending home some forms for you to
please fill out for us. We ask that all
the forms come back to us by Friday,
September 8th, 2017. Not
all students are given permission to leave the school grounds so that form is
optional. Also, you can change your mind
at any time regarding giving or rescinding that permission.
An important date coming up this week is Thursday, September 7th,
where there will be BBQ to meet the teachers and get to know our staff
better. As other dates approach, they will be posted
on the calendar in our classroom. We
will be starting SRC, soccer, volleyball, and cross-country right away so
students will need to listen to the announcements to find out about meetings,
try-outs and practices. Some of this
information may come home via email to you as well. Other important dates include our picture day
which takes place on Friday, September 22nd
and our first interview date which is set for the evening of November 6th and 8th. If you wish to look ahead at other dates on
