Another busy week for students!  I will be absent on Tuesday September 30 but was able to find an amazing sub to cover my classes!

Monday:  We will be playing Stick Dice, a game dealing with probability and exponents.  It was created by the Pomo Indians of California and should be a fun class!

Week 3

Classes are full force this week!

Grade 9 Math - Assignment due Tuesday #1-39 odds (hand out).  I will be checking for homework and we will be correcting it.  If a student is getting stuck on a question, skip it and continue to the next question.
We will have a test on Thursday!!  
Bring a book if you think you will finish early!

Grade 8 Science - We finished up our organelle assignment!
Quiz on Tuesday for 8A and Wednesday for 8B!
Fun Jello Activity scheduled for Thursday (8A) and next Monday (8B).

Grade 7 Science - On Thursday we will be doing a Biome assignment and hopefully have time to go outside for an Ecosystem Quadrant Activity.

Exciting Start to the Year

September 11, 2014

Almost two weeks in!!

Almost done the review in Math 9!  Working on Integers the next couple days!

Science 7 & 8 has gone right into the material.

Science 7 is looking at the science of ecology.  Researching definitions and developing an understanding.  Students are welcome to attempt games that are on blog at home, it will help in their understanding of the material.

Science 8 is researching cells.  We will be looking into the make up of the cells and the functions of the organelles this week.

Senior Girls have their first Volleyball tournament this weekend!!!
Going to Clavet tomorrow!! So excited!
